    3.0 engine seized / timing skipped

    d1s posted a topic in Subaru Outback Club
    Hi Recently picked up a 2002 Legacy Outback H6 non-runner. According to my mechanic the timing chain looks like it skipped and now the engine has seized. Can't even manually crank it. Is it possible to un-seize it? Also, what sort of damage can be expected of a the chain skipping? Bent valves? Thanks
