  1. Good point! Budget is not excessive unfortunately and I would like 340-350 hp at the end of the day, if possible. At the moment she is running 265ps as it has PPP, prodrive quote a figure of 4.8 0-60, so I would to get back to that as a starter and then have the ability to build on it if I wanted to. Mart
  2. Well thanks for the replies, the consensus is obviously to stay with 2.0l, so that is what i will do gentlemen. Rebuild or get a 2nd hand unit that is the next question? Mart
  3. Have purchased a 03 wagon WRX PPP with big ends rattling !! So though about fitting a short engine but 2.5l as opposed to the standard 2.0l. Will all parts just bolt on on will there be other changes required. I take it a remap will e required after as well. Mart
  4. Hi All, Thought I would join for the technical expertise on offer. I have previously owned a 1996 scooby wagon wrx and foolishly sold it to get back into offroading, well I have sold the mudplugger and just purchased a 03 plate wagon WRX PPP with a blown bottom end....so I was wondering if I should replace/rebuild the 2.0l turbo unit or replace with with a short engine 2.5. will the head ect bolt straight on? Mart
