Good evening all. I'm new to the site and this is my first post. I'm just looking for some advice... April last year I bought a 2008 impreza wrx sti hatchback. It lasted a week before the 4th Ringland decided it'd s**t itself out. The car dealer gave me a full refund instead of rebuilding the engine. Now my question is a 2 parter (with the above in mind)(I'm looking at anything 2009 onwards in the hatchback) What engine is better the 2.0 JDM or the 2.5 UK spec engine. I would be doing some light engine mods nothing major. And... If I'm spending the 20k on a JDM engine would I be better off stumping up a couple more grand and getting the CS400, and do minimal tuning? I have a van for work so it won't be used everyday as a runner, just a weekend car mainly. Any help would be much appreciated. Regards Tom.
