Bridgestone Dueler 225/60 R18 for sale
As fitted to recent and current Outbacks. These tyres have only done 3000 miles and have about 7mm tread remaining. No punctures, kerb damage or other trauma. Only reason for sale is that I have decided to go the "all season" route rather than change summer/winter every year. £100 for the four, buyer to collect (Cardiff) or arrange carriage.

Wiper blades for Gen. 4 Outback
I can't believe nobody is interested in these - torn or damaged wiper blades (e.g. you leave the "auto" setting on and then start the car with the blades stuck to the screen by frost) can make your car unusable - I had a wiper motor fail on a Montego in a heavy rainstorm and had to pull over until the rain stopped, couldn't see a thing. And blades to fit Subarus are not exactly the most popular fitment in your nearest parts emporium....

Subaru roof bars for Gen 4 Outback
Used on my 2010 Outback - Subaru seem to have changed the bar profile on the new Outback so these no longer fit. Lock missing from left hand end of front bar but other 3 locks present, with 2 keys and spare lengths of rubber inserts £20, buyer to collect or pay delivery costs.

Wiper blades for Gen. 4 Outback
Unused, still in Subaru packaging, carried as "just in case" spares in my 2010 Outback. £10, buyer to collect or pay delivery costs.

Genuine spare wheel for Outback Gen 4
Subaru space saver spare wheel bought for my 2010 Outback, carried in boot but never used. As my new Outback has 18" wheels and nowhere to stow a spare this is now surplus to requirements. Tyre size is 215x 50 R17. Looking for £100, buyer to collect or pay delivery costs.

Newer Generation Subaru's. What would you Buy? Or Older Model ?
Thanks Dalesman - pity it doesn't show the tyre pressures on the Nav screens, my bike does that :-)

Actually thinking more about this maybe it's not a dumb decision - in that it more or less forces you to buy proper winter tyres rather than "take a chance" with the Geolander M+S types fitted to the 17" models. Now my next question - does the SE Premium have TPMS or not? Some dealer websites say it does but the official Subaru site makes no mention of it in the specs list. My dealer confessed that he didn't know. All I know is that I have the button in the glovebox and the warning light on the dash, but do I have the sensors in the wheels? Anybody know?

I've just traded my 2010 diesel outback for a 2.5 SE Premium - I figured I'd have to do 60,000 miles to break even on the diesel (ignoring the S/H values down the line - and who knows what will happen when there's talk of diesel banning in all sorts of places) and I just don't do the miles now I'm retired. Plus there's all the worry about keeping the DPF clean with mostly short journeys as I do now. Only done about 600 miles but very pleased with it so far apart from the ludicrous decision by Subaru to supply it with 18" wheels and summer tyres.

Boxers rule?
Hi all, been a Scooby fan since I had an Impreza in the mid-90's but didn't return to them until I bought a diesel Outback in 2010. Now changed to a 2016 petrol Outback and very pleased so far.....diesel has had its day as far as I am concerned being a low-mileage OAP now. As you might guess I have another boxer in my garage - although this one develops 125hp from an engine half the capacity of the Scooby with its 175hp..... I confess I have an ulterior motive for joining as I need to sell my original and unused spare wheel/tyre for the gen 4 Outback - not happy with the thought of using it now that I have these silly 18" wheels and there's not really any room for it anyway. So that will be appearing in classifieds when I get a round tuit and take some pictures.
