My forester xt is up for sale 2003. Taken off the road two years ago to do breaks and bushings and a good sort out that never really got started due to my buisness commitments. Sorn currently Had it from new 198k full leather, heated seats etc. Located near Clitheroe Lancs. Best offer secures space wanted, transport could be arranged.

The back discs have certainly had it. Also the backing plate has disintegrated. Front? Saveable? but I don't think I will as they are pretty crusty One of the back calipers were seized but will know more when there in bits Not sure of prices or places yet for stock std XT breaks. Put a few on over the years I have had it like but parts prices have certainly risen on this car

Those rear don't look great. Clean up first though

pOk so what have I done today? Built four axle stands got the wheels off and raised it up on them Looks like it needs rear breaks but next plan is a clean up and check everything before I go spending Just struggling a bit with pictures

This is my 53 plate XT as it's now a third car it's having a full sort before winter.

Hi all Just signed up as looking at getting onto my 53 plate forester XT Had this car from new only done 185 k in it but it's just become a third car so it's time to get onto a few of those jobs Owner of a welding and fabrication firm Clitheroe area of Lancashire and spent a couple years in the car trade but not in overalls ( mitsubushi and Vauxhal) Will be looking for advice and parts during a re- furb The scooby? Well it eats bushes and tyres. Drinks fuel and oil ( Always has from new) but sounds and runs great and in 185 k has only got through a lanbder sensor as regards non consumables ( seats ain't even dropped)
