How long would one general take

They come under quantum tuning. Could someone please explain to me how people like scooby clinic actually re map. I'll be honest and say I don't know how they do it. Do they change programmes within the ecu. Sorry for sounding daft but got to learn from somewhere.

I hadn't till today. Found a website but I honestly don't know much about mapping.

Hi just wondering if anyone has any experience with these. My mates taking his car there in the new year for a re map. Tried to get him to come with me to scooby clinic but someone has put him onto these. Thanks Chris.

OK wasn't expecting a thread like this. only asked about evolution mapping and what it was. but a lot of info. thanks

Think I'm going to stick with scooby clinic as they seem very highly recommended for there mapping.

Just out of interest how much do scooby clinic charge for re maps on average.

Got to be fair to my mechanic he has got my car running as it should. he did admit that he doesn't know much about the mapping side of things and wouldn't know where to start. It's hard to find a decent mechanic nowadays.

Hi guys looking for a bit of info. just replaced exhaust system for a cobra turbo back with sports cat. it's got sti top mount. was looking at getting it mapped with the exhaust change. the mechanic I use said he knows a place that is good with these. I asked if it's done on rolling road which it is but can't give print outs of power run. he said he uses evolution mapping. can anyone tell me what this is and is it any good. Thanks

I'm working on him hopefully he'll start listening.

I've tried he's one of these people who say I'll do it later. I honestly don't think he'll have it long before he kills it. not one for getting cars serviced and will only run it on the cheapest fuel he can find.

they was identical until I added bits to my front bumper. main difference was cost his was £4000 more than mine.

My mates got identical car even the first four on the number plate are the same. best bit about it is neither of us was aware the other was buying a subaru

Hi all. new to the site but on my 5th. had 2 classic wrx's 1 sport. a 54 plate wrx had a few years out of them and now just got a 55 plate blob wrx with running issues (rough idle no pull on pull off) already changed maf. idle control valve. Air pipes to top mount because they were leaking plugs oil. hopefully rest being straightened out today at garage. It's got sti top mount. Walbro 255. having fitted today is full cobra exhaust turbo back with just a sports cat. new stainless headers. denso o2 sensors and a remap. Love looking at other subarus mainly pics as I don't seem to see many on the road. Chris
