  1. Scooby is now sorted. New coilpack to blame. Thinking must of got contaminated when radiator give up the ghost
  2. Give up on it for now. Played about with it 6hrs today no further forward. Think something is shorting out between ignition barrel fuse box fuse now blowes on second click of barrel. On holiday sat going away. Can wait now to after hols. Get auto elec people out
  3. Pulling hair out now. Got car to fire up keeps blowing no 11 fuse fuel pump. Tryed disconnecting fuel pump plug sender plug still blowing fuses ruled out short. Can only now be fuel pump relay. Any other ideas
  4. Cheers mate. Swooped radiator out .ran it up to temp all seams fine . How seam to hit bit of a snag car turns over but refuses to start help"
  5. Hi all 03 subaru forester. Radiator top plastic weeping from the crimped metal teeth is there a seal to form a water tight seal can it be replaced or is it new radiator.. Many thanks for any help given

  8. can you tell me if the bolts for the front caliper sliders are the same as forester ones have looked about not found any listed for legacy
  9. hi guys. was going to replace discs pads on my 06 legacy . someone has had a go before rounded the bolts off the caliper sliders on the front. so will need to get new bolts. whats the best way to replace the rear ones as well .without talking everything apart. everything looks pretty well rotten many thanks dave

Hi all. after some advise please . wanting to get cambelts done on mine/wifes subaru. have made a few initial inquiries been told best to change water pump at same time. is there a preferred kit you recommend. mine 06 legacy reg nv06ppf wifes 03 forester reg EF03LZH. both standard 2ltr. many thanks

Hi all. after buying the missus a forester. been out looking at a few .not wanting full leather interior. like the older shape better with the old style bumpers. price range upto 2500. all the ones i seen are stupid miles away or turbo,s. is the turbo forester,s crazy money to insure. any help advise much appreciated

  16. no sorry not got that far yet. was thinking as a temp fix could I put a inline fuel filter on it to get me away off down to Staffordshire tomorrow

  18. Hi all. bit of a silly question got a fuel leek coming from black metal round cylinder thing rubber fuel pipe going into it,one coming out the other side is it a one way valve of something . going away on hols tomorrow need to fix or replace asap many thanks for help advice

  22. hi all. newbie here. be kind to me after some advise please 06 plate legacy estate rear tailgate handle not working correctly think i may have a broken spring on the handle its self ? have to put handle in closed position in order to open tailgate can you replace spring ? or is it a new handle many thanks for help advise
