    Thanks Sirpidey. I thought to do that but when I took the car to a garage (not dealership) I was told that the mirror is fine and the problem is with the mirror adjusting switch??? That confused me a bit...

    Folding mirror NOT folding

    Hi all I am new in the forum. I have a 2008 impreza with folding mirrors which have worked fine up until now. The mirror on the left side won't fold & buzzes constantly. When I push it it folds but then it won't open again. Any ideas what has gone wrong and how to fix it? Thanks Manu
