Hi all just bought an Impreza classic project, I've had one before and loved it but almost it through no fault of my pen and ever since wanted another. It's a uk2000 the dash has been stripped out by previous owner because head gasket had gone and he was gonna break it. He was about to take the loom out for a customer only to realise it was different to an import one? That's his story anyway so now am left with putting dash back together (with no original bolts unless someone can help me out with this?) and gotta try an source a centre console as he ripped it out an broke it then do either a head gasket or engine swap. I bought an engine of him aswell without realising it's different as it has the coil packs on the plugs rather then on the top.

I know there's a fella Steve Robinson local he's a top bloke but a don't wanna pester him

I'm on the Wirral, just had a go at putting dash together, I've got a couple of plugs that a don't no were they go, whilst am on here a may aswell post some pics an hope simeone will no what they are👍🏽 Top sir this ain't it ha

So I may aswell just do head gasket on original engine really hadn't I thanks mate I also need to get a load of nuts and bolts from dash and Ecu frame,heater matrix and dash support bar does anyone no of anyone on here who can help

New to club just bought a 98 uk2000withnsuppsadlyy head gaskets gone, dash was took out he said was going to take loom for another project. Bought a engine of same bloke with Coil oaks by spark plugs were as mine hasn't, shall I just get head gaskets done or try an fit new engine I think it's an import is there much difference? Thanks
