hi guys owner my Subaru Impreza wrx 2004 and it’s has a leak in boot tried taking spoiler off and Re sealing , this didn’t work , now when all lights are off ignition is off side lights stay on ! Am positive this is to do with damp in boot as I dried out with heat and plenty of air and it sorted light problems out , any body had a leak in boot ? I can’t find where it’s coming from any help ...

No checked dosnt seem to be , I have toped it up so will keep my eye on it , what would be the symptoms of the turbo oil seals where on way out ?? Smoke ? And oil usage ?

No smoke at all , when first start up there’s condensation /steam but no smoke ? Can’t get my head around it ? I am going to top up tomorrow what’s best oil ? And will keep eye on it

My oil level was at correct level about a month ago just checked it now and it’s very low seems to have used a lot of oil , it’s done about 700 miles in last 4 week but hard miles , any suggestions ?? Car runs and starts fine and there doesn’t seem to be a leak

Hi just bought a 2004 wrx Impreza which is standard apart from exhaust and forge re circ blow off valve , I am wondering What safe power I can get with stock internals? And what I need to get around 280 bhp ? Thanks Scott
