ooooh, I do like a good legacy
  3. Im sure now they have to check to see if a cat is present as well as testing the emmissions and not just passing with a decat? As stants says you need a friendly MOTer. Do you still have the cat to put on for the test?
  4. Hi, I replaced my mid section and back box with a stainless system from Subaru 4u. I know its not the cheapest way to do it, but was WAY cheaper than Subaru OEM parts and gives it the proper noise . Went for 3 inch so not too noisy, just nice. All in All was £430 and went on easy (did it myself) When looking for patern parts on ebay or other sites I couldnt find one that fit, or whoever I spoke to were not sure it would fit so just bit the bullet. Im sure someone more knowledgable will come along and help, but I for the price I cant fault the product or the service I got from Subaru 4u

Hi Guys, Thanks for all the comments, and stants thank for the advise, very tempting. Always wanted a scoob when I was younger but never had the means to buy/insure. When I got this my efforts were on the M3, so really looking forward to getting it up to standard and enjoying it. With the coilovers and new tyres its a machine!! There are some really nice cars on this forum,
  8. Hi mel57car, Nice Scoob, I would say lower it, but I lower all my cars so am a bit biased :)
  9. Hi All, Just thought Id introduce myself, me and my wife have had our (her) Forester for about 3 years now and I love it. last week I sold my beloved BMW e36 M3 (sorry) that Id had for years and lavished time, money and love on but as we all know these things come to an end and it was starting to become more and more unreliable and very expensive to maintain. It seemed to just break if you looked at it. I should feel very at home with the Subaru as cover the last few years I have realised that with BMW M tax and Subaru, parts are about as expensive as each other!! Anyway, I bought the Foretster after borrowing My bosses SG9 XT 2.5 for a week and fell in love with it, I ended up going for the 2.0 as at the time I had a 320bhp car and didnt feel the need for the 2.5, hmmmm..... The car is a 2005 2.0 SG5 turbo lowered on Tien coil overs and I put some XXR wheels on it on Friday. Hope you like it, looking forward to being part of the forum, and looking forward to giving 100% of my time to the fozzy :)
