Hello everyone, I have a 2005 Subaru Forester 2.5 XT. My TD04 turbo has blown and needs replacing, the part number on my turbo is 49377-04502. I have been looking at a number of replacements and have been offered a good condition 49377-04302. I understand that this is from an Impreza WRX and I was wondering if this would be a direct fit/replacement? I have done a little research and while some say it will work fine with no alterations, others have said that the casing is slightly different and also the actuator may need swapping from the Forester unit. This has left me a little confused, a state I find myself in a lot these days, and I was hoping that someone on here may be able to advise on the subject. Many thanks, Jon

I just wanted to say hello to everyone. My name is Jon and I am the proud owner of a 2005 Subaru Forester 2.5 XT. It's an awesome car, I love it but it's currently off the road with a blown turbo. I will be making a separate post in the relevant section regarding the turbo, as I would really appreciate some advice. I look forward to getting to know some fellow scooby owners.
