    Hi, I'm new to this group and would appreciate an opinion from those more knowledgeable than myself (everyone!) on the value of a 55 plate Legacy R spec B with an apparently knackered centre diff. I have the chance to buy one, which appears otherwise mechanically sound, with tidy bodywork and interior for £300 or thereabouts. Does this seem like decent value, or does the cost of the repair warrant such a low price? The MOT has expired in June, but was used daily until the diff problem arose. Any opinions would be great, as I'm very tempted but don't want to end up with a money pit sat on my drive. Thanks.
