PSTAR Posted July 25, 2015 Share Posted July 25, 2015 FOR SALE – No Traders please Impreza WRX Sports Wagon – Prodrive Performance Pack World Rally Blue - 116,900 miles (52 Plate) This car belonged to my father-in-law, who has recently passed away and therefore this car, at his request, is to be sold on to an enthusiast.I have the V5 which is still in his name as the registered owner with one former keeper listed. We do not want to re-register incurring an additional owner on record. The car is not located at the registered address, it is located in Reading, Berkshire. I can provide full details from the Will which details my wife as Executor with our address in Reading, where the car is located.History The car was purchased in March 2003, with 2009 miles on the clock (6 months old), so he effectively has had it since new.This car has been well looked after and used as a practical (and fun) run about.For peace of mind I have checked, and the car is HPI clear.The service book is stamped (x8) by Subaru up to the 70,000 miles service. There is no other service history, but as an Engineer and MG nut (He had 4) he was more than capable to conduct his own servicing on his own ramp, keeping this in excellent mechanical order.The MOT lasts until 10/09/15. There are no advisories.I drove the car over to Reading (70 miles). I cannot find any faults. The noise is what you would expect from this car with the big bore exhaust. Easy to start, when warm it is very quiet at idle, but a lovely burble when moving off.Specification I read the following from the specification as found with the documents. Prodrive Performance Pack – 245bhp Single big bore exhaust Short shift gear change Prodrive lower spring kit Morette headlamp conversion White side repeaters and reflector kit Sports stainless grilles Colour-coded side sills Boot liner and carpet mats ABS brakes Driver & passenger airbags Aircon Sports bucket seats. Observations The Oz alloys require a refurb x 4Good tread on all tyres (Yokohama)Rear discs are corroded – brakes all work fine.Thatcham Cat One alarm/immobiliserThere is a large scuff mark (150mm) on the rear bumper from a post (See photos)There is one small dent in the passenger door from another door openingThe front splitter could do with some black paintThere is a spare wheel (space saver, looks unused) Some small chips on front bonnet (as expected with 116k miles) Summary This is a well looked after car and a pleasure to drive. It will only take a little time and a good polish to make this into a really great car of original ‘Prodrive Performance’.I have not attempted to touch up or spray any marks as this can be left to the new owner to their specification.
