attacktrail Posted November 7, 2023 Share Posted November 7, 2023 I have a Subaru Forester XT 2.5 turbo 2004 (54 reg). This has been tucked away at the back of our warehouse since 2019 (I think). Come to get this going again just over 4 years later and I can not get it to start! I’ve replaced the car Battery and the Battery in both keys – I’m thinking the keys have lost connection with the car over this time or something similar? The button on the keys won’t do anything – so they won’t lock or unlock the car and therefore I’m assuming they are not disarming the immobiliser. I can lock and unlock the car using the key in the door and with the key in the ignition all the dash lights and Stereo etc. come on but I can’t start the car. Any ideas please!?
