Taking care of a few bits why I have a minute

Hi all I am putting up my project it’s going to be a long term project on restoring and getting rid of the ugly off the car i will start of by saying I was looking for a nice classic but I was getting faced with time wasters ect. i got to the point that I was going to go new age then my other half found this on eBay and said you have rebuilt a few of you friends engines over the years and it’s a passion of yours so what about this one that needs an engine so at that point I contacted the seller and purchased the car. the problem was it was in Brighton East Sussex and I live in Liverpool as I moved up here 6 years ago. so I set about getting the car recovered 2 weeks ago and found an engine with 70k on the clock just so I could get it running then I could move it around with out pushing it. my long term goal it to do an sti8 short block with v6 sti heads but for now this engine will be spot on I hope it’s always a gamble when you buy used but I hope it pays off for a while here are some of the pictures so far I have some uk rear light ready for it I have a s/s up pipe black oil filter gasket set the parts are coming in slowly

Nice car mate my 1st classic was the green turbo 2000 I loved the colour they are so shiny when polished up. i like the rb5 alloys it complements the lines of the car good find and have fun

Hi all I am new to this forum I have been directed over by one of your members i would like to say 1st a big hello to everyone and I hope you all had a good weekend up till 7 years ago I was very heavily into owning and taking part in the sidc but a life changing event saw me having to sell my other classic. i have now 7 years on got my self into a new classic project I took delivery of the car 2 weeks ago and have now taken the engine out to replace it due to the engine letting go on the old owner. the engine is now ready to go back in after some detailing work and cleaning of the engine bay I wanted to get the areas I can not reach with the engine in. i am looking to make this a long term project and I am in no rush I want to make the car look right. i have just got hold of some uk rear light to get rid of the old ones hope you like it
