  1. thankyou very much - thats really helpful and I will look into this asap!
  2. can anyone out there help me regarding obtaining a new/replacement parking brake button? My husband recently passed way and I now have to deal with some car problems. Garage are saying they cant locate this switch anywhere so I thought I would try! Car is a 2009 outback and it needs a new switch. Any pointers? I would be very grateful for this. Thankyou Sheila
  3. Hi Bobster, did you find out what was going on with your car? I also have a 2010 Outback petrol/LPG auto which has just started doing almost exactly what you described in your post. The only difference I get is the "bang" you mentioned sounds more like a screech (mechanical or skidding tyre) for a fraction of a second, then acceleration. Engine doesn't falter at all during this. I was thinking possible ABS or electric handbrake fault. I'd love to know if you got anywhere with this.
