Hello everybody, sorry to bother again but I don't have any experience with Subaru so I have to ask. Does anyone know what type of gearbox oil goes to cvt in outback 2015 2.0d 150hp? My car has 113000km and I don't think anyone changed it before so I think it's better to do it. One aut.gearbox specialist wants 250€ for the job and I'm a little bit afraid will he put the right oil, procedure etc

I've resolved the issue, it was obvioulsy down to the quality of diesel because when I changed the petrol station the consumption went down to around 9l/100km

Hi everyone I've recently bought the outback from late 2015 2.0d and I'm happy with the car the only thing that's bothering me is the fuel consumption. The computer says that is around 8.5l/100km or 33mpg in your figures but when I done the calculation manually (fill and calculate) I've realized it's 11.5l/100km or 24.5mpg. Apart from that is drinking the diesel like there's no tomorrow everything seems fine. Just to mention previously I had bmw 530d 3.0diesel with 193hp and that car was averaging 7.6l-100km(37mpg). I understand this is 100+ kilos heavier than the bmw and awd and automatic (bmw was a manual) but still I think it's too much for 2.0d correct me if I'm wrong Thanks in advance

Thanks for the reply I always preferred cars with chain( I come from a BMW) , I've bought the car last Friday so I'm with it 1 week now and I'm really enjoying it. Very nice car, nice smooth and a lot of space. Btw I'm not Spanish just living here 😂

Hello to everyone, I'm Daniel I live in Spain and I'm in the process of buying Subaru outback from 2015 2.0d with automatic gearbox. I tried the car and I really liked it, comes with everything that was available, gearbox works really smooth and I have a couple of questions because Subaru is almost completely unknown to me. I know they had big issues with this diesel engine and my question is this sorted in this last models and does this car comes with timing belt or chain and if it's a belt when needs to be changed? Thanks in advance
