    Timing belt kit opinion pls

    Whats the average cost to have this done? Alex Noble in Scotland have quoted 353.66 for the replacement, i'm not sure if that would include the changing of the tensioners etc. Most certainly wont include ethe water pump. The Gates kit costs 230 . .. what should we pay to have this changed? 3 hours work for a garage with the knowledge and tools ofcourse??? P.s. .1st post in this forum. happy to be here.
