Yeah it has the buttons on the steering wheel, to move into semi auto etc. I think the box is called sportronic 4eat.

Sounds good, although you say soft, does it handle well and inspire confidence in the bends? I understand its not going to be as planted as a regular car but in between would be a good compromise. Also have you used the sport shift?

Hi all, looking for some thoughts on the forester cross sport. I was looking to purchase a legacy, but after much thought I think a forester maybe a better fit. I have decided on a jdm cross sport, but wondered if the premium for a manual is worth it, and how does the sport tronic auto fare?
