  1. No problem mate I didn't get what I was after either :(
  2. Spoke to two yards 1st one only does Impreza's, 2nd one has a Legacy in but it's not got headlight washers and no Outbacks :(
  3. Found these to give you an idea. Seems there is two ways 1. is for Cars that use a separate Sensor for the Speedometer 2. is for Cars that use a ECU output for the Speedometer.
  4. It wires onto the ECU it's almost like a chip if you like
  5. Just so you know I emailed one place but the idiots didn't even use a working email so came back to me. I will ring them later :)
  6. Right 3 possible points from what I can make out The ECU Behind the speedo cluster Or you have to fit the converter on the wiring above the speed sensor on the gearbox :D I'm just not sure which one it is. Had a look on Fleebay only kits I could find was all to do with the classic shape Imprezas But THIS is what I was on about from HKS
  7. I thought I was bad 4th one in six weeks. I'm guessing his luck chances of the lotto is slim then not to find one he liked already :D
  8. If I remember you have to take the speedo cluster out and bridge it,but if not already done would give you the chance to change the Speedo to MPH. It was the case with older Impreza's anyway not sure if it's all done from the ECU now. I will have a look :D Ok it is all done from the ECU by the looks of it. But the cluster trick changes it to MPH and moves the limiter to 180MPH which you wouldn't be able to do anyway. I think you can buy the kits to do them on ebay. But I'm sure likelihood is you will have stuff at home that will do the same thing.
  9. Haha Thats not nice :)
  10. Nope perfect place mate :D Hope to see some pictures very soon, and hopefully one of the members can help you out :D Good choice in the Legacy too
  11. I'm not different ;)
  12. Hi mate welcome to S.O.C Adam or Tlag Bip's will be best people to speak to I believe, when they come back on :)
  13. I agree I've liked it that much I've now put it in the car to listen too :D
  14. Phew alzheimer's not creeping in yet then :D And good luck with the change, I've never done anything to any car that has made me say " F$% it. Thats it! I'm going to pay some "£^&* to change F%£!ing things next time" But still end up doing it the next time
  15. Yep you're right I was looking at the part ;)
  16. 86636AG300 Oh I got a different code :) But it does look like it can only come as a whole unit :( and the Legacy one appears to fit. Be tomorrow by the time I speak with the Scrappies now didn't know that was the time :D Time flies when your having fun ;)
  17. K cheers. They break Subarus and jap cars so fingers crossed might be able to help. I'm going to see if I can talk them into coming on here :D

  20. Ok I will do some looking around too, I'm going to be ringing a couple of scrappies up or email them tonight I will ask at the same time :D Just incase what year is it 04 ?
  21. Thats what I'm thinking to lock it in place. I wonder if another Subaru model might fit, say from a fozzie
  22. He's in the UK that I can see.
  23. So does it spray like it should when you push it tight in ? so is it something more to lock it in place or does it not reach the jet to spray it without it going everywhere ? Sorry about the questions just so I know what I'm looking for ;)
  24. You would have thought looking at it, it would push on and twist to lock it in place. Might end up having to get a bit of pipe and play about with it until it work :(
