Hello everyone. I’ve recently joined this forum so forgive me if my question seem silly. I been thinking of upgrading the steering rack of my 2006 forester 2.5 turbo Xte. It has been said that the sti quick steering rack from 2004 would be a straight fit for my vehicle and would dramatically improve the steering feel. I have found a steering rack on line with the following details: 34110FE550 Steering Rack Complete 2005 RHD would anyone know if this would be a straight fit for my vehicle? I would ask a specialist mechanic to do the fitting for me if anyone thinks this is okay. thank you very much for spending the time to assist me. Tolga

Hello Steven. Thank you for your brilliant post. I have just recently come across this. I was interested in getting this amazing car but It seems it has since gone to a dealer in York and is now being advertised for sale for £19,985. I have a number of questions that arise out of this situation but the main ones are these: why did you want to sell this car in the first place? do you think it is worth £19,985 ? I am tempted but I wanted your honest opinion before making a decision. thank you Tolga
