    Tried to get the DPF to regenerate, light still on. I have posted a thread on the engine/exhaust forum if anyone has advice in this area.

    DPF problems

    Back in July I had the DPF cleaned using a 3 stage process, this cleared the problem, however 2 days ago the light is flashing again. Do the DPF cleaning fuel additives work? I have followed the procedure to force a regen, but how do I know if this has happened, as the light is still on? I have 92,000 on the clock, is a new DPF needed? Trying to avoid paying out a small fortune for a new DPF, any help appreciated.

    Interested to know if you have resolved the DPF issue? I have a similar issue with my 2014 Forester. Some months ago the DPF light started flashing and after trying Halfords forced regen, had the DPF cleaned. Been fine for a couple of months but yesterday the light started flashing again. Any advice appreciated.
