Location for vacuum hose for boost gauge
stants replied to JDM.Jord03's topic in Subaru Engines, Exhausts and modifications
Take a look in the how to & faq's The best place is to tap into the vac line coming from the manifold, i'm not too familiar with the new age cars but a google should help you -
Catch can... Talk to me.

If your emptying it once a week I'd be looking at some of the reasons its filling up that quickly, how many miles are you doing in a week ? Mine used to collect maybe an egg cup or two in a couple hundred miles of driving, emptying it was a pain until I bought the petcock kit and drained it from the bottom. A thicker rear anti roll bar will sort out the understeer that's built in, dont go too thick though maybe 21mm max ? Sent from my SM-G960F using Tapatalk

You can get waxoil in a big tub with a sprayer, but I found that to be more of a hindrance than anything, followed all the instructions and stood in a tub of hot water to soften up but it still went everywhere and I mean everywhere, The end result was gloops of stuff where I didn't want it, the manifold and exhaust was fun, pulling up to the lights with clouds of smoke pouring off the car. The following time I decided to use the stuff you apply with a brush, takes loads longer but you get alot better coverage, You'll need to wire brush the underside to remove any loose crud/ rust then just

STRUGGLING TO FIND 3” SPORTS CATPIPE FOR MY FORESTER SF5
stants replied to PullenFoz99's topic in Subaru Forester Club
Cobra sport will do you one, (they did for me) Failing that Heywood & Scott used to Or the other option should be to cut and insert a section into the one you have Sent from my SM-G960F using Tapatalk -
You really need to be a bit more specific, What's the aim of the build? what other parts have you got to go in, may give people a starting point with the help your require Sent from my SM-G960F using Tapatalk

Hesitation followed by hard lunge
stants replied to Oatmeal123's topic in Subaru Servicing / MOT / Dealers
How full was the fuel tank when you experienced this ? Could be a fuel cut from the tank being fairly empty and struggling to pick up, Or it could be boost related, have you run any diagnostics ? Sent from my SM-G960F using Tapatalk- 1 reply

Boost solenoid help?
stants replied to UK 300 no'30's topic in Subaru Engines, Exhausts and modifications
Unless you have a manual boost controller then all pipes should be connected as per oem, Is there any evidence to suggest there's a boost controller ? Have you found any loose vac hoses that are sat in the bay doing anything ? This is what a three port should look like Sent from my SM-G960F using Tapatalk -

Newbie to S.O.C Want to learn more about mine
stants replied to Sarah Marshall's topic in New Members Introductions
Hello & welcome , Feel free to get involved here were all friendly, as for the button post a picture up may help, but could be anything going by other random buttons and trinkets found in imports, As for tuning, how much do you want to spend, once the modding starts it can end up a very slipper slope, I'm sure one of the leggy owners will be along to give you some more pointers Sent from my SM-G960F using Tapatalk -
