  2. Yes I bought an 07 outback,very pleased with it. I've removed the rear seats and fitted a fold up board but yes been away camping a couple of times now

  6. I do wear a aeatbelt but ilke the option of not wearing one when driving on campsites etc I've tried the buckle unbuckle 20x thing but doesn't work

  8. i've just picked up a 2007 outback, very pleased so far. To disable the seatbelt beep ive read you insert remove the seatbelt latch 20 times, ive tried this several times but it doesn't work BUT what i have noticed is sometimes the seatbelt beep comes on when i have the belt on so the switch maybe worn. Can the beep be disabled using say the rear seatbelt as they should be less worn? cheers carl

  14. thanks for the feedback, we do a lot of camping and i have a toyota avensis estate, big boot space but no ground clearance. so the plan now if to find an outback and then do a 2" lift etc to give it the off-road look. they seem so rare i have never seen one in the flesh! carl

  17. I don't own a Subaru but go camping quite regular, my current car has rubbish ground clearance. I was thinking of a Forester but after looking at one the other day there is not much room to sleep in the back with the seats down Is the outback the same or are there 'estate' versions to look for?
