  1. Cheers mate, and glad you found a good Forester, they're easy enough to mod so sure you'll get it up to spec soon enough.
  2. Hey mate - was just down in Portsmouth picking up my ExigaGT from Japan Autos in Gosport. Based near Maidstone in Kent, so maybe a bit far for a regular catchup, but happy to connect up in the South Downs, High welds, or Surrey Hills in the summer. Best of luck with the surgery and recovery! Take it easy afterwards and don't over exert yourself. You've now got a proper excuse to be pampered by the missus 😀
  3. Hi Jason, fantastic collection you've had there! Hope you don't mind me picking your brains in the future on the Exiga GT - just bought one myself and having a nightmare sourcing info on it. Regarding the Forrester, there's a very good Subaru specialist near me in Kent (may be a bit far for you?), SC Commercials, that has had a few nice XTs in recent weeks. Spoke with them just before Xmas and they currently have a low 42k mileage 2006 with Prodrive Pack that would match your Legacy 😜 All the best with your search, Ben
  4. Hi Mark, Plenty of imports in the UK. Mine is a JDM import and I've kept the speedo in KPH, no problems with MOTs as they'll record it in Km. You're right the car will likely need to be waxoyled to protect from rust. Can be a DIY job, or a few hundred to have a specialist treat for you. I doubt heating will be an issue as this comes from the engine, quick way to check is turn it up and see if it gets even hotter in there! Next step is to get prices for shipping including transportation insurance. Once back in the UK you'll have to sort registration with the DVLA, road tax, and finally get it an MOT then you're good to go. Best of luck with the move, Ben
  5. Hi folks! A quick post to say hello as a new 2011 Exiga GT owner (well almost, picking up in 2 days time). Having 3 small children, I've done the usual trawl of estates, MPVs and SUVs, before stumbling across the Exiga GT whilst nearly biting the bullet on a Forrester XT. After a test drive, the Exiga wasn't the fastest, but handled fantastic for an "MPV" and leagues apart from the bland and non-Ulez compliant VW Touran I have currently. I'll no doubt be asking a lot of questions in the coming weeks and months (first up will be replacing the JDM head unit and fixing the reverse camera), and hope to meet many of you at events in the future! All the best for 2023, Ben
