So after getting bored of my Fiesta ST (and my insurance dropped) I decided it was time for a upgrade. So bought my SUBARU IMPREZA WRX STI in the beginning of august 2013 from a Japanese import garage. The car had covered around 57,000 miles, had a full service history and heaps of reciepts. The mods on the car when I bought it were: -K&n induction kit. -ninja back box. -ecutek remap. -bilstein damper kit. -HKS dump valve. So over the course of a few months I have started adding my own personal touches to the car. -Kenwood touch screen head unit. -Hertz front speakers. -Hertz sub. -Privacy glass all round. -Front splitter wrapped in carbon fibre. -Sprayed front headlights. Ive mainly concentrated on the looks of the car as im happy with the current 331bhp she is producing. I shall post pictures up so you can see the progress, still alot more to do untill im completely satisfied but it takes time lol.

I will try my best to keep a well documented portfolio of my progress just to show you lol

Cheers guys..was pretty simple once I managed to get the headlight off the car lol, longest part was sanding down and preparing for painting... I was looking at a set of them, maybe even some red rota grid drifts just to colour co-ordinate lol.

If anyone was wondering why I wanted to take me headlights out... I wanted to give the front a more evil look, may not be everyones taste but Im very happy with it.

May sound like a stupid question, Im trying to do a bit of work to my headlights so need to take them out. Ive taken out all the bolts I can see, but it still seems to be held in, do I need to take the front bumper off for more bolts underneath?

Sorry if its in the wrong section but im sure someone will move it if not lol. I have a impreza 2006, how much can the standard engine endure? Ive have my car on the rolling road and I achieved 331 bhp with a ecuTEK remap, k&n induction kit and a ninja back box. Just out of interest, if I was to bolt on a bigger turbo at what power would I need to think about fitting stronger internals?

Oh right! Well I shall be on the look out as im sometimes in that area.

Ahh not too far then, Iknow a few people round that area, pretty sure I keep seeing a blue new shape parked outside tescos most of the time..

Hi all.. I purchased my Impreza WRX STI (hawkeye) a few months ago aand can't get enough of it! Thought I may aswell join the forum to meet some like minded people. Hopefully my picture has uploaded, if not I shall try again lol. Anyone else from the same sort of area?
