The pcv system is all the random pipework running across the engine so look for pipes that are just open or blocked off with bolts and the major give away is if the metal pipe that runs across the intercooler is still there

To show what i meant in my new members post, This is what I need to get sorted for it's mot as the car is not doing well in the standard subaru rust areas

My plan is get it road worthy with the rust and other issues. Add some reliabilty mods to it like cylinder 4 cooling. Then enjoy it while I save to build the 5 speed as I would like a 6 speed swap but I like the ratio of the 5 speed. We will go from there for more power but first I need to sort the bodywork and mechanical side of it

The area in the rear wheel arch near the bottom at the front where the sills end is where I have seen a lot including my own be rotton and the frame rails underneath. Other then that if it modified be carefull and if the pcv system is still intact is what to look out for

Hi am new to this group. I have owned my very rusty 2003 wrx blobeye since November 2023. I am only 21 and a blobeye impreza in 02c blue has been my dream car. Now i have one that needs a lot of love, so hopefully I can give it the love it deserves.
