In the end I booked it into the main dealership in Barnoldswick and to be fair they were pretty good. I had the gearbox serviced at a cost of £535. Unfortunately I have a problem with a loud knocking coming from the front of the car when I go over pot holes and the like and also when I brake heavily I get a bad juddering from the front which takes a good 5 mins to correct itself so I suspect a sticking calliper. I’ve booked it into my local garage for that work to be done as I’m hoping it will be a little cheaper than a main dealer. Then fingers crossed I will have a decent car.

Hi, I’ve just joined as I bought a 2016 Outback 2.0D SE Lineartronic last night. I want to have the gearbox serviced and also an oil service as it’s due but didn’t really want to go to the main dealership in Barnolswick. Does anyone know of any Indy garages that could do a good job that aren’t a long way from me ( I’m in Burnley ) Thankyou.

Hi, I've just joined as i bought a 2016 Outback diesel SE Lineartronic yesterday so cant really comment but early signs are good. I absolutely love it. It may be the entry level model but it’s got everything I need ( maybe with the exception of front and rear parking sensors ) I’ve spent the day cleaning it 😁
