  1. I have a 2010 boxer diesel 2.0 in my legacy wagon with 140 000 km on the clock and never had a problem until I had to clean the egr valve recently - runs like a champ.
  2. Update: so I just cleaned the egr valve (cumbersome process to get it out), cleared the codes and all good - no problems in the control. I guess the shop had a very bad day in concluding this was an EPB failure. Anyways, learned a great deal about my own car, and that is a good thing also.
  3. Hello all, I just need to ask here because i am unsure - my 2010 legacy was in for the EU control (MOT) and i have the 0401 and 0409 codes. Now the subaru dealer claims this is due to an error in the EPB system (electronic park brake). Can this really be the case? In 2019 there was a campaign by subaru where this was replaced so i am wondering it is now causing the faults 0401 and 0409? I have nowhere read that this could be the case. Anyone knows? Appreciate any feedback. Thx. Albert
