    Immobiliser? Problems

    Hi I am a newish owner of a 2013 Impreza WRX sti. Been loving it ! Have an issue now though. The old battery gave up the ghost over Christmas/New Year. At that time I accessed the car by using the key in the driver’s door. Replaced it with a new one but the moment we connect it up, the alarm sounds. The neither key fob turns it off (have replaced their batteries and checked they are working). I have tried putting into the keypad the number we were given as the PIN and have also tried putting in the electronic security code. Neither of these seem to work. Any ideas please ?
