I'm just testing the water at the moment to see if I get any interest, I'm thinking of selling my Subaru 330s, As I'm looking to buy a diesel. I do a lot of commuting and I need something a bit cheaper on fuel. So I think It's time to part ways with my baby :( She's a 2009 Subaru STi 330s, 46k miles with full Subaru service history up till the last service I just had, Which I got done by a trusted garage I use. (please note the miles with go up as It's used as a daily) 10 months MOT I have just had a new stage 1 Exedy pink box clutch fitted by Triton Subaru Services, (all receipts included) 330s alloys powder coated in black. The car has always been run on V-power. The car is fairly standard. Modifications - Stainless steel turbo back decat exhaust system, EBC Yellowstuff pads front and back, mud flaps wind deflectors I do have a brand new front mount intercooler kit for the car that I have no yet installed. That I will include with the sell if sold for asking price. Like all cars there is a few minor things that could do with replacing, The rear tyres and brake discs. Apart from that the car runs sound and smooth with no smoke or noises. Asking price £14,000 I will get some better pictures of her on the weekend, as I have didn't have time tonight. UPDATE - The car parts fairy came and bought me a front mounted intercooler, and an exhaust system, a pair of hella supertone horns, and everything for a full service. So busy weekend for me.

Not much to update really, haven't really taken the car out much this week as the solenoids been playing up,. Got a few pictures though next to a few of my mates car :) I also stuck a tacky windscreen sticker to my car ;)

Okay I think I've figured out the problem, It only happens in 6th gear around 5-6k revs when I put my foot down, If I pull over. unclip the Solenoid sensor and clip it back in all the engine lights switch off, So I'm pretty sure it's building up to much pressure and tripping its self, I dunno if a new waste gate will help or just replacing the solenoid? Anyone heard or got a grimmspeed solenoid?

Okay took the car to the dorset subaru garage after work, they did a diagnostic test on the car and the code came back as P0244 (turbocharger wastegate solenoid high input) he didn't tell me how much it'll cost to replace but he said give it a thrashing to see if it comes back on again haha, helpful. anyone else had this problem on their car?

I've been trying to find a specialist in the Southampton area but I've had no luck, the cars back at home now. If anyone knows or can check the codes for me I will be very grateful! :)

Right I went to get my car today and all the dash lights are off, I have no clue what's happened? It's no longer sluggish, could something of tripped the ecu and made it happen.

Car has always been run on 5w 40 and Shell Vpower, all water levels are fine. I'll try post a video of it later.

I was on the motorway, I came off at fareham and parked up, checked the car over no smoke, just smelt really fualy.. The car has been smelling really fualy though lately, there was no knocking noises, I had to stay over a friends house in fareham and probably get it recovered tomorrow as it was 3am when this happened.

Right I was just going onto the motorway in 6th gear, the car just did a jolt feeling and the cruise control light, engine light and abs light came on.. The hasn't raised in temp.. nor is there any knocking noises? Could it be the engine blown? :/

I'm after an exhaust system for the 330s, I wanted a single exit exhaust like the Greddy one. But I'm having no luck finding a UK seller, I don't fancy buying one from the states and getting stung with import charges.. does anyone know of any alternatives or know somewhere? P.S sorry if this has been asked before.

So I'm back this time with Ruby the Scooby, She's 2009 model 2 owners from new. 35k Miles, full subaru service history and HPI CLEAR! Not done anything to her yet, Looking for a set of Te37 alloys in black, as the 330s alloys have a few curb marks and I can't be asked to get them powder coated, I'll keep them for winter wheels.. Anyway what do you think?

Well that's what I thought all garages did, but Suppossibly they only did a finance check on it not a complete HPI check :/ it'll probably be back up for sale soon, so keep an eye out incase the dealer doesn't state it's been written off.

No clue about the engine rebuild, just know the last lads name was Kevin Hayden. Car run sweet for the first week, took it out for a spin on the weekend. sat at the traffic lights then it started to Idle lumpy, then it just ran like ****, got it home let it cool down to find there was no oil or water coolant. Dunno about anyone else's subaru but this one got hot within seconds of starting it up.. I'm really the one to blame, if I did a HPI check from the start I wouldn't of bought the car. Just lucky enough to get my money back. Will hopefully have a new one by next week, then can start adding the parts I've bought, although this has really made me look carefully when buying another..

Yeah I'm looking for another 330s. Abit of a shame really as I already started buying parts for the car, then had to take it back. but fingers crossed the next one has no issues!

The car was from Nottingham, About a week of owning it, It started making a tapping sound from the engine, I investigated it to find there was no oil or water coolant, I did check the car before buying it, and it was all fine.. So I called up the garage I bought the car from as he said he had given the car a service before he sold it to me, There was no proof of this service though. So the car had gone 20k miles with no service, Worried. I called up Subaru for more details about the last service and they told me it was serviced in 2011, so from 2011 to 2014 it's had no service.. so why hasn't the car had a service in 3 years? I should of done this before buying the car!! but I did a HPI check to find out the car had been stolen and wrote off, in 2013. ROOKIE ERROR. So I called back the Garage told them all this, Luckily enough the guy was sympathetic and gave me a full refund for the car.So Lesson learnt, Don't buy a car without giving it a full HPI check and if it's got part service history, Look into why it's got part service history!
