  1. Ok, so... I just moved to Alaska. I decided that I'd better get a Subaru, being that everyone has one, they're good in the snow/ice, and I'm more of a car guy (than an SUV or Truck guy). I love my '99 Subaru Outback I just bought used. Now, I'm faced with the daunting task of improving MPGs on a car that's virtually sentenced to driving in some of the harshest and longest-lasting winters on the planet. Alaska, like the rest of the west coast, has some of the highest gas prices in the nation, rendering our dollars and loonies worth even less than we probably should expect. It's better here in Anchorage than it is in BC, AB, or even SK or Manitoba, but still! I've got a block heater and studded tires. But, now I'm thinking grill block is in order. What else do the good people here recommend? All the best
  2. hmm...i wonder why this page is so lonely? Could it be because the legacy is incredibly boring?
