What oil would be recommended on a 2006 WRX hawkeye model? I believe the manual says API CLASSIFICATION GL-5?! Does that mean 10w-30 Synthetic? Also, I would like to use a standard Subaru filter - how much are these?

It just looks flat at the bottom where it contacts the road. I need to post another question regarding oil and filter change too!

Yeah they are all the same tyres. I think you might be right - it's the only thing that would make sense to me. Thanks for the quick reply!

Hi all, I am a new member so please bare with me! Passenger side front tyre looks flat. I have just checked all tyre pressures and they are all the same though as the car has just had an MOT. I drive a wrx 2006 with 215/45zR17 91W XL. Most mishaped tyres i have seen are an egg shape but this looks under inflated yet it isn't?! Any ideas? Needless to say i am taking it to a tyre specialist tomorrow!

No I didn't make it unfortunately. Shame it wasn't tonight instead. I will get to the next local one hopefully though. I have some questions about the sound from my head unit - shall I post in seperate section on forum? Thanks I'm glad you like it. I am just amazed how rapid they are with the torque from the turbo. I did own an RX8 and I thought that was quick...I was wrong!

Thanks for the advice. Just got the car today. Been for a blast. My god what a motor!! I am blown away with it. Look forward to seeing some of you at meets. Now need to fogure out how to post pics!!

Hi all, pick my first Subaru up today all being well....WRX in black on a 56' plate with FSH and in mint condition. Look forward to speaking more on the forums in the future and getting pictures up. Hopefully there will be some local enthusiasts on here in Leeds area?
