Big advice needed
Ok everyone i took car to garage this morning to get brake caliper changed at front and rather than do that he gave me a list of problems with car... List is... All brake discs & pads need changed, Both front calipers, n/side front shocker, o/side rear shocker, n/side rear tyre, oil leak from sump, Complete exhaust, 2 front link bars.. Ok brakes, pads and front link bars i think i can manage easy enough, and the shockers i think he has told me 1 at front and 1 at rear knowing i'll have to change them all and exhaust i have at home and told him about. so my questions are how hard will exhaust be to do with just stands/ramps and can shockers be done easy enough because on my bmw 320 i did front control arms and bushes, droplinks, top mounts, bearings, front brake discs and pads, steering rack and steering coupler so i have some knowledge. Also the oil leak from sump were should i start looking and the starting problem im sure could be cable because if you muck about with cable after it wouldnt start it then starts fine, so any advice is thanked.

car turned over but wouldnt start
OK had it diagnosed as was told camshaft sensor so changed that but it still randomly won't start and keeps giving cam error code but after 3good starts engine light goes out, it can be bump started or sometime just move it 2-3 ft and it starts but it is most infuriating

Problem solved lol, I pushed out ring were bolt goes through and it gave just enough clearance to get bolt in but plug lugs wouldn't line up so I cut groove in plug outer and it went on and all working so far

trouble getting camshaft sensor
Ok my car has had trouble starting a few times and normaly a bump start gets it going so i had it on diagnostic machine and came back with camshaft sensor.. My local garage has got 3 different makes from local motor factors and while they all fit and look correct the bolt hole simply doesnt line up, i mean half of the hole is covered so without going to subaru (£300 ive been quoted) what are my options
