    So, looking to buy a 2005 Jap Import Forester Sti with some mods, ECU remapped to 335bhp, miltek exhaust, the usual, even added on some bits i wasn't sure of like suspension upgrades. Spoke to the team at Adrian Flux £610 fully comp, including all the usual legal this, cover that stuff that should be standard. LV (via the meerkat website) £520 with the same boxes ticked same excess. Seems strange that a "High street" insurer can get better deals for highly modified cars, I've not had much luck with Adrian Flux in recent years, neither here nor on my Leon Cupra R or my MX5 track car. All of which are fast and modified in some way or the other. Just goes to show, it pays to go on the stupid meerkat website, even if you vowed never to buy from a puppet!!! W.
