  1. yeah your right there is no dipstick on the STI now, there is by all accounts a level plug on the other side so i'll have a look today then do a little write up with some pictures. but having now changed the gearbox oil she feel loads better!
  2. I like that diffuser wheres it from? mines got a cut out where some muppet previous used it to tow
  3. I done a trip from Salisbury to Northampton this weekend and have to say the route selection is not different it still seems to take you odd routes and the time calc on it is way off too :-(
  4. thats helpful thanks but the only issue is i dont have a dipstick.....
  5. Hey, looking to do this on Wednesday but after an upto date "how to" as i'm not 100% on fill and drain locations on the manual 6 speed box. Any one help?
  6. Hello Everyone, I run a small up-cycling business and am after any scrap parts that are sat rusting in your shed/garage/workshop - I'll come and collect them and give you a few quid (scrap being what it's worth right now) I'm in the south so depending on the amount will travel but if it 100 miles for one piston not really worth the trip. post a reply or PM me and i'll get back to you Thanks very much
  7. yeah I have done that in the past on my old car but because of the inbuilt gps and the fact it knows when your moving not just if the handbrake in on i'm not sure it's going to be as simple.
  8. in what way?
  9. hi gents sorry for the late reply! So ive had the disc a couple of weeks now but haven't used it much, it went in and after a short period (a minute or so) it worked, I can only assume its a install period. The roads are updated and there seems to be more POI's on it now but ive yet to test it against my tom tom app on route selection which is what i've really had issues with before. Is it worth the £25? 100% as the old one was so out dated it was all but useless around most cities and especially over the stealer one as I hear they are £200 plus?! If anyone has any other questions let me know, or if your in my area and want to borrow it for evaluation that's cool too.
  10. Well I've just ordered one so I'll let you know what it's like!
  11. sorry mate, the kit would be a tow bar mount, tow bar and socket, and the cable. if you look under on your bumper there should be two welded plates ready to bolt the mount to.
  12. So I've had my hatch for just over a year now and love it, glad i went for the 330s just for the few extras and rarity. However that said the satnav unit is pretty poor for a modern car. I don't want to think how much an update disc is for the nav side and the gauge info screen is more then pointless. What i'd like to so is display some useful info on there like oil temp, boost, and battery voltage etc. Does anyone know of any hacks that can be done to the unit, or how to trick it into thinking it's stationary so i can display a video input into it to display the data from an OBD reader. Thanks
  13. there is a fitting kit you can get from the dealer, i only know as mine has one fitted when i bought it I've since ripped it out but your welcome to have the cable if you like only it has no end on it but wouldn't be too much work to rewire a socket onto it. I plugs into the loom in the boot somewhere on the left.
  14. thanks gents
  15. do you have the links you used please? i'd like to do the same thing, also how do you tell if its an s32?
