2.0 it is then. Drinks less than a 2.5 and they generally seem to have better 0-60mph times. I think I prefer the MY01 Bug Eye, just looks better.

I've just seen an advert for a 2002 WRX that says it has the following upgrades: sti turbo, sti intercooler, sti panel filter, sti ecu and sti large bonnet scoop. Is this gonna make much difference to when it was standard? Anyone got any ideas about this one?

I was leaning towards the 2.0 as I couldn't really see any benefit to having the 2.5. Especially as it's more thirsty!

I'm looking at buying my first Subaru too, so very interested in this thread. I definitely want a turbo version but should I go for the 2L turbo or 2.5L turbo?
