  1. South Manchester....essentially Cheshire area... Oh dear...I can't believe I am replying to this a...year later.... :-( I am really sorry for such a delay my dear friend
  2. It was an enjoyable couple of hours indeed! And opportunity to meet some people, so thanks a lot Luc :) for letting us know And members of Manchester Subaru Owners Club as well, Rob and Cath, Dean, Louise, Rick I think I am forgetting some names... So, off to the next drive/meeting this coming Saturday! B)
  3. As I had insomnia obviously, I thought I'll have a look around: I went to the industrial are and tried to find them. No success... where are they?
  4. You had a great time, I see. Would be nice to repeat so we can join as well!
  5. Cool! :) And I'll have a look at your car! haven't seen a Forester STI before!!!
  6. They are different. I'm loving them all. They compliment each other. The XJ is a fast comfortable luxurious car: a mobile carpet or a lounge on wheels The D3 is fast, economical, quiet and relatively comfortable for its 19" alloys The STI is fast and furious, surprisingly more comfortable than the D3, and loud :P When I first drove the STI with my boyfriend and after a couple of hours when we came back and stop the car, he said to me: "I'm getting a headache, just turn the engine off; I want some quietness!!!" I see other people's reaction: When I drive the XJ, they may jump in front of me sometimes, as they think..."an old man's car...bah won't be going fast..." When I drive the D3, they pull over out of my way B) When I drive the STI, they don't even think to get on my way
  7. Mind you the Jags drive better than I'd thought, altough, as I always say, the automatic gearbox "kills" the performance of the engine. The new F30 ALPINA D3 BiTurbo with its 6-cylinder 3lt is indeed the fastest diesel car on the road, but comes only with an automatic gearbox. Mine though is the humble E90 D3 saloon with the one turbo, has 6-speed manual gearbox and a 4-cylinder 2lt engine... Hopefully this weekend I'll take the Sti out for a good drive!
  8. Nearly 2,500 miles in 2 months :) And I do not drive the car much!!! Can't wait for the weekend to come! Also, just to clarify... as you may not see me in it often... as I am lucky enough to have access to other cars B) as well So, when I am not in the white STi, if you ever see a blonde female driver in a light green or light blue Jaguar XJ X350 or a black BMW ALPINA D3 (this is manual of course :D ) either waving or flashing or trying to keep up with any of you, it will be me!!!
  9. Great! We are waiting for more photos! :)
  10. It seems as a very good drive and meeting! What for those who don't do facebook?!? Maybe an update for next time?
  11. If I convince the b/f, then we should be OK to come :) as well on the 7th June. And I'll bring the STi :D Do we just turn up and park? Where will you or anybody else be? (How will we recognise you ... I mean...)
  12. Excellent! We can't wait for photos!

This happened second day I had the car. I let them know straight away. To be honest I'd rather this system was deactivated, as I don't see its real use, other than some conformity to regulations

Just a bit of help here I have the 2015 STi and it is a great car But from day one the orange light of the tyre pressure monitoring system is on. The dealer tried to reset it, but no joy They said that Subaru says it is a "known" problem and a chief engineer from Subaru needs to come and do this What am I doing? It's been 2 months now...
  16. And now the car has 1,200 miles!!! Already :D This morning on M1, I "bumped" to a Ford convoy full of Escorts RS, Sierras Cosworth :o Nice little drive again!
  17. This TPMS is a pain...in the...a...e My car had all 4 wheels removed for refurbishment prior delivery, as they were scrathced during transportation...since then the orange light is on :( I wish we can get rid of this...and please DO NOT ANYBODY DARE to say it's a safety feature....ha We have been driving for years without these electronic and no problem. Just check your tyres every month and job done. All these electronics are just money making features
  18. And few photos (taken with my BB) from today's morning little drive around Peak District :D
  19. Getting mine done in Stockport on Tuesday so will let you know. You could also try the Wheel Specialist http://www.thewheelspecialist.co.uk/locations/manchester/ They have done all our alloys in our other cars. Speak to Donna!
  20. Why did they not release the code? They can't expect us to send the alloys to Japan for refurbishment!!!!
  21. Done already 700 miles! Can't wait to go over 1,000 miles. I think I spend the night driving.... :D

Hi Dan Thank you for the message. It seems that there is a quote mentioned already on the site. Do you think that you can beat this? Thanks

Wow!!! This is THE price :) I need to get his details. Unfortunately I am over 25.... and I do not know what we do with the years on no claims, as they stay with the other car...
  24. So here's the nose and the bum The happy driver The faithful front seat passenger ;)
  25. I can post some photos, if you like :)
