  1. Hello to all Legacy owners, I now have a legacy b4 and after purchasing it on sunday my first lesson to learn is to hold back on the power. I have found the car to be a dream to drive so far. little lag when flooring it from turbo but other than that Happy days. The car is standard and just imported. The boot opener on the key phob does not work. The brakes are not as responsive as i thought they would be. I don't think there is any cruise control. It does have gear change on stering wheel that works a treat. cd player and mini disk player both work. Folding door mirrors...nice. I filled the petrol tank with Esso standard unleaded.... will this harm the engine? Having used half a tank i will now fill up again with tesco momentum. Any tips with regarding the legacy b4 would be appreciated. I managed to download an English version of the manual. Subdriver.
  2. Hi Wide Sam, Thank you for information. Now i have a Legacy i supose i will have to post posts in the legacy section and say good bye to the introduction section. Thats where im going now.
  3. No i have not seen anything regarding fuel. I though i could use premium or normal unleaded. What should i use?
  4. Well Hello all, Thank you all for helping. Its official ...Im now a suburu owner. I drove both cars and decided to go for the newer version. I could not find rust anywhere on the body work or under the arches, no doubt there is some somewhere underneath. Imported 2 months ago 10 months m.o.t, drives like a dream. Is it fast......wow. No written warranty but the owner of the garage specialises in these vehicles and has done so for the past 16 years he is local to me and stated he will repair anything that needs doing within three months of purchase if needed. it looks far better than any i could find on the net. But ....all the books are in Japanese and i need instructions....lol Could someone tell me please. Whats the little black button for next to the auto shift? Mike.
  5. Tank you Tom_gr7 and Tlag, I get the name now Tlag...lol. Im thinking newer car v better looks, as i prefer the older look. Both cars are direct imports from Japan and look too good for their age, both are standard with no modifications (though i would not know) The guy will not budge on price so its the price stated or no purchase. Are they easy to service? When i go back on monday i'll look closely at the wheel arches. Sorry for all the questions don't mean to be a pain in the a**
  6. Any reason you are going for a mk3 legacy? as you can get some nice Mk4 legacy imports? Although they would cost a bit more. Is the newer model a better car performance wise?
