  1. Thanks David, I'm not bothered about the match, just the fitment. I don't want to buy anything until I can confirm the specs.
  2. Cheers stants, spoke to them and only had spacesaver.
  3. Hi all, I am looking to get a full size spare for my 2011 outback and after giving up trying to find an alloy from a breaker, decided to get a price for a new one. Was told £350, just for one!! I believe the specs for the 2011 outback are 17x7j et48 offset with 100x5 pcd. Does anyone now if this is correct?, and was the spec of the 2009 17 inch wheels the same as there seem to be a few of them about? The dealer also tried to sell me the "recommended" spacesaver which had a smaller rolling circumference, which I thought was a no no with all wheel drive? Any thoughts or advice welcome. Cheers, Paul
  4. I've just bought one of these and intend to do a small amount of light towing. It's rated for 1800kg braked and 750kg unbraked. Permanent 4wd helps, but cvt fluid would need changing more regularly if towing alot. I've found mine to be a very smooth vehicle with cvt, but if I was going to do alot of heavy towing, I would have gone diesel manual. Cheers, paul
  5. And it came in at £1225!
  6. Picked up the outback today and my first impression is delight! The car seems to run a bit quieter with no loss in performance. Filled up with Lpg for £26!!!!! Drove the 40 odd miles home and gauge still has 4 out of 4 lights lit. Big thank you to pawel and staff.
  7. Have today booked the lpg conversion for the 21 st aug. Went with lpg wales in newport, romano system with multipoint flashlube (jlm actually), uklpg reg etc, for £1300. Most places were around the same price. Will post after the install.
  8. Thanks rich. I spoke to toby on an lpg forum a while ago, and i am considering him along with a few places more local, ( uklpg reg) just need to get prices etc.
  9. 2011 2.5 cvt managed 41.5 mpg from inverness to south wales @ 65-75 mph. Measured fill to fill. Computer said 41 so nt too far out.
  10. Thanks guys, ive looked into it quite a bit and am defo going to do it anyway, its just nice to hear from people who have experience of it.;-). Absolutely loving the cvt by the way!
  11. Hi all. Gonna be convertingmy 2011 to lpg in the near future, and was wondering if anyone else had done it?
  12. Excuse my spaniel in photo no2!!!
  13. Took some photos this morning. 13 hour, 600 odd mile drive (over 2 days) from inverness was worth it. Very comfortable and nearly 42 mpg average! Very pleased so far.

  15. Hi all. I am collecting my first Subaru on thursday, a 2011 2.5 cvt outback. I have wanted asubaru since my dad had one in the early 80s, and waiting until thursday in torture! I will be converting it to lpg and would like to hear from anyone else whos done this. I have not seen many outbacks on the road here in SWales, and am looking forward to the puzzled looks!
