My 2005 forester xt for sale 47k miles
Hi all I have for sale my 2005 subaru forester xt 2.5 turbo. I am the second owner from new, the original owner bought it new from the subaru dealer in Northern Ireland and I have owned it for the last year. I bought it as a winter runner which it served it's purpose very well. It is very well equipped inside with Leather heated seats, Sat Nav, Air Con, Electric sunroof, electric mirrors, electric windows, cruise control, power steering, hill start assist. It's covered 47k miles and has been garaged since I took ownership. I have recently changed the oil (shell ultra) and filter, spark plugs, front anti-roll bar drop links, gearbox & diff oils (gulf competition) and new front and back wipers. The Cambelt was done by the previous owner in 2013 (invoice included) I have various other service paperwork and the original subaru documents from first purchase. The tyres are like new all Goodyears which I also have the invoice for, the spare is a yokohama which has never been used. The car passed Mot last weekend without any advisories so is good till April 2017. The car really is a cracking runner with not a mechanical issue, and drives really smooth without hesitation throughout the rev range. The body has a few slight age related marks, nothing unusual considering its 10 years old. I have kept it very clean since ownership using all the best detailing products, polished & waxed regularly. Any questions or interest please let me know. I'm after £4600 ono. I'm in Bromborough, Wirral Cheers Lee Sent from my D6603 using Tapatalk

Forester dilemma
£500 for spark plugs & diff oil change? I did these jobs myself and the plugs are a pain in the **** but didn't expect it to cost that much. Ouch. Sent from my D6603 using Tapatalk

Which Tyres for Subaru Forester 2.5XT - standard 16" rims.
Just to make a quick point I run a obdlink in my 2005 xt which sais I'm running 3mph slower than the speedo and I'm on standard 16s so odds are your speedo is out anyway! Sent from my D6603 using Tapatalk

Reducing body roll, 2005 xt
I did get new droplinks for the front a month ago to get rid of a knocking noise they were standard type made by meyle if I remember right. I will measure the rear bar and let you know, as could do as you mentioned and stiffen the rear up first. Sent from my D6603 using Tapatalk

Reducing body roll, 2005 xt
Hi all, I'm after a way of reducing the foresters body roll/sway in cornering. I'm trying to keep it simple without going down the shock replacement route! I'm aiming to get 18" alloys with lower profile tyres but keep at standard height, will adding heavy duty whiteline front and back anti-roll bars make much difference? Thanks. Forester SG5 audio options
I have just fitted a new kenwood Bluetooth stereo with the intention to pair it with a nexus 7 in the sat Nav slot, trying to keep the cost down too. The kenwood will do all the speaker work through bt audio whilst the nexus does the rest. Sent from my D6603 using Tapatalk

Sat Nav in forester 2.5xt
Hi stants, yes that's the other issue trying to make it look like it's came from the factory with it installed. I'm having a mare trying to sort a Bluetooth obd2 reader too the elm327 one I got won't work and I'm having difficulty finding a compatible one as this will be running through the nexus 7 ideally! Sat Nav in forester 2.5xt
Hi Steve, funny enough I was looking at sat Navs in halfords to see if that was a possibility. My ideal is a nexus 7 install but not totally sure how difficult that's going to be. Thanks for sharing anyway! Cheers Lee. Sent from my D6603 using Tapatalk
