Hi guys. I have a 1996 WRX V-Limited Turbo import impreza and im after some bits but not sure what/where is the best thing to do. Heres a list: The centre interior light cover inbetween front and back seats on the roof the cover has cracked so need a new one of those. Cant seem to find that anywhere. Next is new rear speakers im guessing the ones in mine are the original ones and they arent great quality so need some new ones to replace them without needing to damage the back of the car. This is probably the most important. My clutch has started slipping and so need a new one. I use this as my daily so dont want any racing clutches or anything but i dont know enough about clutches to know what to get. Any help is greatly appreciated. The others 2 are a new top mounted intercooler and front radiator. Again i can find these easily but just want to know what people reccommend and what people have used themselves. Its a lot of questions i know but any help is greatly appreciated. Picture underneath is my car to help Cheers Adam Stewart

Alright guys i need some help and advice please. My brakes are just about shot discs pads and even calipers are siezed up now. I have a 1996 impreza 2.0l turbo GC8 and im looking for a brand new full set up of brakes. I am after front and back. Currently i have 2 pots on the front and single pots on the back so was hoping for 4 pots on the front and 2 pots on the back if possible with my wheels size. Because its a mcrae special i dont want to change the wheels because they are only 16" wheels. Ive found a few kits but its nearly a grand just for the front. Hi guys, I am in need desperatly of a full set of ignition coils for my impreza 2.0L turbo GC8 EJ20. Ive been looking so many places but cant seem to find a full set with two long leads and two short leads. If anyone can put a link on it would be greatly appreciated Thanks Adam Stewart

Hi all, I have a 1996 impreza 2.0L Turbo GC8 with engine code EJ20 and have a terrible missifre problem i have put brand new NGK R spark plugs in but it hasnt worked so the next step is for me to buy a full set of coils for it. I was wondering if anyone new the original brand for the coilpacks as i would like the original ones and not some unknown aftermarket ones. and also does anyone have any suggestions as to what else it could be if not the sparks and coilpacks. I have recently fitted a brand new MAF aswell. Thanks in advance. Adam

Hi all, I have a 96 classic impreza (chassis code GC8) and its atarted to missfire a bit. Ive decided im gunna change the coilpack and heard the original one is renown for cracking and that you can upgrade this to the new age coilpack. Has anyone done this? Is it difficult to do and where abouts can i get one? Thanks in advance Adam

Hi guys ive decided im going to buy some new suspension for my 1986 impreza and i am in need of a full set of top mounts as mine are knackered. I am struggling to find a full set i have found rear ones but not any front ones. Am i missing something being a newbie or are there some out there. Any help is greatly appreciated. Cheers Adam

Cheers pal. Thats a big help il look into it. I have held a wire between two fuses before and it flashes my 'antilock brake' light in a moorse code and after a bit of decryption it came up with a faulty g sensor. Dont suppose that might have something to do with it?

Boost wise it has a boost gauge on and it seems to go to inbetween 0.5 to 1. This is first scooby so dont know much about the turbo guage. The plugs got done about 5 years ago but il probs get some new ones. Mods its pretty standard its a jdm import from japan but hasnt been touched with much still has cat and all original underneath. My dad is a mechanic and has a top spec snapon diagnostic machine but he is a little stumped aswell. Il start with the plugs and see where that goes. Cheers

I havnt done a ecu check. Do you think plugging a diagnostic machine in could tell me more? Even though there are no lights on the dashboard?

I have a 1996 mcrae impreza its just done 64000 miles and had its timing belt done about 300 miles ago. Ive had a slight problem which seems to be getting worse and worse and its tricky to explain. When your driving and you put your foot down it seems to accelerate pretty quick but then starts to jerk back and forth when the turbo is just about to kick in at 4000 revs ish. If you keep your foot down eventually it gets passed the jerking but then will do it in the next gear and so on. Sometimes when going up a hill with your foot planted it gets to 4000 and will not go any further at all. When in first gear and you plant it it is fine which makes me think it isnt a turbo problem? Not too sure? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Cheers Adam

Im also after upgrading my brakes. I currently have standard 2 pot calipers on the front with 15" alloys on and i have heard the the newer age 4 pot scooby calipers bolt straight on? Can anyone confirm this? Cheers
