Just been to Richard Henrys (Scooby specialist) in Bradford and he's told me I can put a uk sti 6speed box straight on as it is a direct match. However I will need the prop shaft for it and the clutch will also fit, luckily my click is almost new ;) Sent from Smudger's IPhone

Ah right!! So mine is a new age, so what would be the best fit to look for in terms of not having to modify too much if anything at all?? And do I need a different map on the car for the 6th gear?? Sent from Smudger's IPhone

Well I've purchased a 2001 wrx bug and I'm wanting to change the gearbox from a 5 speed box to a 6 speed box. I've heard of it being done but have no clue on how to find the right one or what else I might need to change. Any help is very grateful, cheers guys [emoji106] Sent from Smudger's IPhone

Well I'm not sure if it's posh [emoji23][emoji23] but rope access technician is our official name as you know so I've always classed myself as a rope technician [emoji6] but yeah I love the work as its all over the country and the jobs are never the same- you should keep going at the ropes if you can cos it's one of those jobs that not everyone can do but those that can are normally living life and having fun even when at work [emoji13] Thanks for the compliments on the car as well fastboy [emoji109][emoji106] Sent from Smudger's IPhone

when all the engine work was done a few weeks ago I then had a ECUMASTER DET3 ecu fitted with 4bar map sensor and mapped up after I ran engine inwith fuel cut defender so car is smooth and pulls well at 278 BHP ON TD04 running 1.5bar dropping to a steady 1.2. all ecu work was done at turbospec- car tuning specialists.
ALSO THERE IS A USB CABLE RUNNING FROM ECU INSIDE CAR SO MAP CAN BE TWEEKED AT ANYTIME WITH THE ECUMASTER DET3 SOFTWARE AVAILABLE FREE FROM ECU MASTER THEMSELFS Sent from Smudger's IPhone
