Afternoon peeps after being given a none running 94 Impreza wagon last November I finaly have the engine running *round of applause* but now it's time to change the oil, up until I got it running it hadn't started in over 5 years, it has covered 130k and I have no idea how many mods it has (the previous owner bought it then parked it up and left it) so I was wondering, what is the general consensus to the best oil to use?

Howdy everyone and thank you Stants: it has been parked up for 5 years, the starter motor is seized (trying to find someone that can recondition it) rear lights need replacing (cracked, ive got replacements but trying to find a way to the 5th screw without taking the entire boot section apart is a bit of a challenge at the moment, prob something simple im just missing) and everything else you mentioned, otherwise just cosmetic which can wait at the moment, though on a happy note my stereo fits and works :D silver linings and all.

Thank you :) But doesnt apply to my vehicle, mine is a 1994 model (possibly older than some of the peeps on here), going by the replacement lights i have theres 5 screws, i can get to 4 (their in the area where the bulbs sit) but the 5th is behind the plastic interior of the boot, and the only way i can see to get to it is to remove it, which would involve removing the rear seatbelt as well..... hope not

Hi peeps New to the world of Subaru, was given an old girl (94 impreza wagon) that needs some tlc to get her up and running, any hints, tips or advice would be greatly appreciated :)

Afternoon peeps, I have recently been given an old school scoobie (94 Impreza wagon) which needs some tlc to get her back on the road, and i need to replace the tail lamps, i have found 4 out of the 5 screws but how in the hell do i get to the 5th??? And is there any particular sealent you guys would recommend? Also does anyone know anywhere in the south wales area that can recondition starter motors? Thank you for all the help/abuse ;)
