Hi Theador, I've just bought a 2006 Forester and am also severely underwhelmed by the the standard kit and satnav. Did you manage to get anywhere with this? Would be interested to know whether you found a solution.

Hi all, I've just bought a 2006 Forester XTE. The service history is a little sketchy so I figured the safe and sensible thing to do would be a thorough service. My nearest 'specialist' is Arden Bridge Services in Reddtich, Worcestershire (http://www.ardenbridge.com/). There don't seem to be any reviews on them so I was wondering if anybody here has ever tried them?

Hi all, After years of window shopping, throwing money away leasing VW Touaregs and Audi Allroads, I've finally got around to buying my first ever Subaru... hopefully, the first in a long line. I picked up my 2006 Forester XTE 2.5 turbo with 91,000 miles from Cymbran earlier today and enjoyed a cracking drive back to the West Mids. The seller kindly arranged to get the all important cambelt change done before I collected it. Part of the service history is a little on the sketchy side so it needs a little work (brakes, filters and fluids, mostly), however, it's an absolute belter and, so far, I love it. We'll see what the future holds :-)
