I’m currently getting my Hawk rebuilt with forged internals. It’s got a remap on it at the moment but it’s just a dodgy hand written receipt and a rolling road print out from a different date.
So I’m a little concerned about doing this build and not knowing what’s going on with the rest of it.
I’m based near Gatwick but can travel most places, Slowboy racing and Race dynamics but I’m new to the Subaru tuning game so need pointing in the right direction. It will help run her in right?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
I know this has probably been posted a thousand times my Hawk STi is in need of a rebuild as the engine sadly gave up the ghost over the weekend.
Any help to point me in the right direction of a good engine builder would be greatly appreciated
I'll have to have a proper look into it when I get a minute in day light. I've not really looked into the correct fitting of it. We literally took the RCM one off which was 2 port at the top with return to sump. And put the new one on.

I wonder if anyone can offer some advice. I have a uk spec STi it had Roger Clark return to sump catch can on it. My mechanic advised that as the car only has minor use this is overkill. Swapped to a normal catch can, now this is where the issue starts. The car is breathing really heavy and has already filled the catch can to the brim, after 100 miles or so. We had the manifold and down pipe of the same night and there is no oil in the turbo or exhaust. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I'll have a look I can't remember who did the build. I need a manifold and up pipe on mine. It's blowing badly and seems silly to keep it standard when it's all got to come off anyways.
I'm down most weekends and over Christmas a fair bit.

want to sort the stoppers first though, either drop the fluid and go for better pads and fluid or a big brake upgrade. Not sure yet.
Going to do usual health checks etc, only picked her up the day before. Already blown an exhaust gasket, typical right. I'm down in fareham most weekends be good to meet maybe
Front mount, full Miltek Turbo back, hks filter, forged engine, TD MD555 Turbo running 1.4bar boost at 370bhp, HKS SSQV, Japspeed alloy rad, Oil catch can, HSR coilovers, stage 2 clutch off the top of my head.

Thought I'd sign up as I've just bought a UK Spec STi. Car needed a good detailing as the paintwork was shocking see the finished article. Just bought as a toy to get me back on the tuning scene.
