    Wrx Crank/cam sprockets?

    Hi, anyone know if you can mix and match between old/new style crank/cam sprockets, IV used heads off an earlier version ej20 engine, i beleive heads are 99 on my rebuild, these heads fitted my 2004 intake and rebuilt short block, IV used the original 2004 sprockets and the engine won't start, it cranks over and IV got fuel, but no spark, any help on this much appreciated.
