ah right might be head gasket then, thanks for all your responses! i've got a head gasket testing kit coming today so if that fluid turns yellow then i'll know for sure. strange really as theres no obvious white smoke, overheating of any kind and the dipstick has no milky oil and neither does the oil cap.

Hi guys! Long time lurker, first time poster. I've had a non turbo subaru for a while and have now recently bought a turbo 2000. Expect some fun technical questions from me in the future im sure. Looking forward to diagnosing a random leak and possible head gasket issue in my first 2 weeks of ownership. YAY.
