It says 22g but am told wasn't avaliable until 2005 ? Also has a bit more power than the other couple I have driven it's an odd car but in good way !

Hi chaps ! New to these cars and this forum. I have an 03 wrx with the model GDACK8D. its 22g red which shouldn't be on one until 2005 ? Trying to research her to return her to her former glory, she is totally standard but strangely quick. Any advice as to her heritage would be appreciated. Cheers
